Ingredients

  • 1 lb Italian sausage, casing removed
  • 1 lb ziti pasta
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain.
  3. Brown sausage in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it into small pieces.
  4. Mix cooked pasta, sausage, marinara sauce, ricotta, garlic powder, basil, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  5. Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
