Brussels Sprouts with Bacon

Description

A simple recipe for Brussels sprouts with crispy bacon.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 4 slices bacon, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside, leaving bacon fat in the skillet.
  2. Add olive oil to the skillet.
  3. Add Brussels sprouts to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, until tender and slightly browned.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Stir in the cooked bacon.
  6. Serve immediately.

  • For extra flavor, add a splash of balsamic vinegar.
