Description
The ultimate burger experience! Juicy beef patties, crispy bacon, and gooey melted cheese come together in this indulgent classic.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend recommended)
- 4 slices of crispy bacon
- 4 slices of cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or your choice)
- 4 brioche or potato buns
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, pickles, caramelized onions, avocado, fried egg
- Optional sauces: barbecue, aioli, or ranch
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or skillet to medium-high heat.
- Season the ground beef with salt, pepper, and any additional spices like garlic or smoked paprika. Form into 4 equal-sized patties, slightly larger than your buns to account for shrinkage.
- Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. Add a slice of cheese on top during the last minute of cooking to melt.
- Toast the buns lightly on the grill or in a skillet for extra flavor.
- Assemble the burger: Start with the bottom bun, add a layer of lettuce, tomato, and the cooked patty with melted cheese. Place two slices of crispy bacon on top, followed by your choice of toppings and sauces.
- Finish with the top bun and serve immediately with your favorite side dish.
Notes
For a healthier version, consider using a lettuce wrap instead of a bun or a plant-based patty for a vegetarian option. Pair with a fresh side salad or sweet potato fries for a balanced meal.
