- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract

- ¾ cup powdered sugar, for coating
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar.
- Mix in the peppermint extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Roll the dough into 1-inch balls.
- Place the balls on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes.
- Let the cookies cool slightly.
- Roll the warm cookies in powdered sugar.
- Let cool completely and dust with more powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- For a stronger peppermint flavor, add a few drops of peppermint oil.
- Store cookies in an airtight container.
