Ingredients

- 2 carrots, chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 cups chicken broth
- 1 pound cooked chicken, shredded
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add onion, carrots, and celery; cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in garlic; cook for 1 minute.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Add cooked chicken and egg noodles. Cook until noodles are tender, about 8-10 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream. Season with salt and pepper.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
