- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- In a small bowl, whisk together chicken broth, olive oil, oregano, basil, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Pour the broth mixture over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or until chicken is cooked through.
- Remove chicken from crockpot and shred.
- Return shredded chicken to the crockpot and stir to coat with the sauce.
- Season with salt to taste before serving.

- Serve with your favorite vegetables or over brown rice.
- You can add chopped onions or bell peppers for extra flavor.
