Description

A simple and flavorful crockpot recipe featuring kielbasa sausage and fresh green beans.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound kielbasa sausage, sliced
  • 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place sliced kielbasa in the bottom of your slow cooker.
  2. Add trimmed green beans and sliced onion over the kielbasa.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together chicken broth, soy sauce, minced garlic, and dried thyme.
  4. Pour the broth mixture over the ingredients in the slow cooker.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until green beans are tender.
  7. Stir before serving.
