Description
Tender, juicy, melt-in-your-mouth steak bites slow-cooked in a rich garlic butter sauce — these Crockpot Steak Bites are a game-changing weeknight dinner that’s hearty, hands-off, and full of bold flavor.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lbs sirloin steak or chuck roast, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Optional: red pepper flakes for heat
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Trim excess fat and cut steak into bite-sized cubes. Season generously with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, whisk together melted butter, garlic, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and seasonings.
- Add steak cubes to the crockpot. Pour sauce over the steak and stir to coat.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 4–6 hours or HIGH for 2.5–3 hours, until steak is tender.
- Optional: Sear steak bites in a skillet before adding to the crockpot for added texture and flavor.
- Taste and adjust seasoning. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving. Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles.
Notes
Cut steak evenly for consistent cooking. Use low-sodium broth to control salt. Searing is optional but adds flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
