Description

A rich and indulgent dark chocolate mousse tart with a pecan crust, topped with crumbled cookies to resemble dirt and gummy worms for a fun twist.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups crushed pecans
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups dark chocolate chips
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup crushed chocolate cookies
  • Gummy worms for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix crushed pecans, melted butter, and brown sugar in a bowl.
  3. Press mixture into a tart pan and bake for 10 minutes. Let cool.
  4. Melt dark chocolate chips in a double boiler.
  5. Whip heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
  6. Fold melted chocolate into whipped cream until smooth.
  7. Pour mousse into the cooled crust and refrigerate for 2 hours.
  8. Sprinkle crushed cookies on top and add gummy worms before serving.

  • Chill the tart for at least 2 hours for best texture.
