A rich and indulgent dark chocolate mousse tart with a pecan crust, topped with crumbled cookies to resemble dirt and gummy worms for a fun twist.

- 1 1/2 cups crushed pecans
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups dark chocolate chips
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup crushed chocolate cookies
- Gummy worms for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Mix crushed pecans, melted butter, and brown sugar in a bowl.
- Press mixture into a tart pan and bake for 10 minutes. Let cool.
- Melt dark chocolate chips in a double boiler.
- Whip heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
- Fold melted chocolate into whipped cream until smooth.
- Pour mousse into the cooled crust and refrigerate for 2 hours.
- Sprinkle crushed cookies on top and add gummy worms before serving.
Notes
- Use gluten-free cookies for a gluten-free version.
- Chill the tart for at least 2 hours for best texture.
- Adjust sugar to taste if using bittersweet chocolate.
