Easy Lasagna Soup Recipe

Description

A simple lasagna soup recipe.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 8 ounces lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef in a large pot. Drain off any fat.
  2. Add onion and garlic; cook until softened.
  3. Stir in crushed tomatoes, beef broth, oregano, and basil. Bring to a boil.
  4. Add lasagna noodles; cook until tender, about 15 minutes.
  5. Stir in ricotta cheese.
  6. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.

Notes

  • You can add vegetables like carrots or zucchini.
  • Serve with garlic bread.
