- 6 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional add-ins: Green onions, spinach, bell peppers, mushrooms
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a pie dish or baking pan.
- Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Drain excess fat and crumble the bacon.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and heavy cream. Season with salt and pepper.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon.
- Pour mixture into the greased dish and smooth the top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the quiche is golden brown and the center is set.
- Let cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For best results, allow the quiche to cool slightly before slicing. Customize by adding your favorite vegetables or swapping in different cheeses.
