- 1/4 cup granulated sugar

- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- In a microwave-safe mug or small bowl, combine the melted butter, water, and vegetable oil. Stir until well combined.
- Add the granulated sugar, salt, and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly.
- Add the all-purpose flour and cocoa powder. Stir until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
- If using, fold in the chocolate chips.
- Microwave on high power for 60-90 seconds, or until the edges are set but the center is still slightly gooey. Cooking time will vary depending on your microwave’s wattage.
- Let it cool for a minute or two before enjoying directly from the mug.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use dark cocoa powder.
- Add a pinch of espresso powder to enhance the chocolate flavor.
- Serve with a scoop of ice cream or a dusting of powdered sugar.
