Yield: 25 small squares

Ingredients:
• 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (510 g)
• 1 can (14 oz / 396 g) sweetened condensed milk
• 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (56 g)
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• ¼ teaspoon salt
• Optional: 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (120 g)

How to make it:

  1. Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang so the Chocolate Fudge can be lifted out easily later.
  2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Stir continuously until everything melts into a thick, glossy mixture.
  3. Remove the pan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and salt. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  4. If using nuts, gently fold them into the fudge mixture.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly with a spatula.
  6. Refrigerate for about 2–3 hours, or until the Chocolate Fudge is firm and set.
  7. Lift the fudge from the pan using the parchment paper and cut into small squares.

Serve chilled or slightly softened at room temperature for the creamiest texture.
