Garlic Miso Ramen-Inspired Broth

Description

A flavorful broth based on ramen, with garlic and miso.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups vegetable broth
  • 2 tablespoons white miso paste
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger
  • Optional toppings: cooked noodles, sliced green onions, soft-boiled egg, nori sheets

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine vegetable broth, miso paste, minced garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, and grated ginger.
  2. Heat over medium heat, stirring until miso paste dissolves.
  3. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
  5. Serve hot with your favorite ramen toppings.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of miso paste to your taste.
  • For a spicier broth, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
