Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cloves, ginger, cinnamon, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, cream together butter and brown sugar.
- Beat in molasses, vanilla, and egg.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla.
- Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto a baking sheet.
- Place a small amount of cheesecake filling in the center of each cookie.
- Top with another spoonful of cookie dough.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes.
