- 500g carrots, peeled and sliced
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a bowl, mix the carrots with olive oil, honey, cinnamon, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
- Spread the carrots on a baking tray in a single layer.
- Roast for 20-25 minutes, stirring once halfway, until tender and caramelized.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired before serving.
Notes
- Adjust honey quantity to your preferred sweetness.
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of chili flakes.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
