- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 3 medium apples, peeled and diced
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix flour, granulated sugar, and salt in a bowl.
- Cut in butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Press half the mixture into a greased 9×9-inch baking pan.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- Toss apples with brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Spread apples over the baked crust.
- Drizzle caramel sauce on top.
- Sprinkle remaining crust mixture over the apples.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Sprinkle with sea salt while warm.
- Let cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
- Use tart apples like Granny Smith for best results.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- Warm slightly before serving for extra gooey caramel.
