Description
A fresh and simple pasta salad featuring basil.
Ingredients

- 1 pound pasta
- 1 cup chopped fresh basil
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and rinse with cold water.
- In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, red wine vinegar, minced garlic, and Parmesan cheese.
- Add the cooked pasta and chopped basil to the bowl.
- Toss to combine. Season with salt and pepper.
- Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can add other vegetables like cherry tomatoes or cucumbers.
- For a creamier dressing, add a tablespoon of mayonnaise.
