Ingredients

- 1 pound bowtie pasta
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup chopped red bell pepper
- 1/2 cup chopped red onion
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup Italian dressing
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook bowtie pasta according to package directions. Drain and rinse with cold water.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, celery, red bell pepper, and red onion.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Italian dressing, and Dijon mustard.
- Pour the dressing over the pasta mixture and toss to combine.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a creamier salad, add a little more mayonnaise.
- Add other vegetables like peas, corn, or broccoli florets.
- For a tangier flavor, use a vinaigrette instead of Italian dressing.
