Description

A classic chicken pasta salad recipe with a creamy dressing.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound pasta
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, diced
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • 1/2 cup red onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and rinse with cold water.
  2. In a large bowl, combine pasta, chicken, celery, and red onion.
  3. In a separate small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, and Dijon mustard.
  4. Pour dressing over pasta mixture and toss to combine.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream.
  • Add other vegetables like peas, carrots, or bell peppers.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
