Classic Pasta Salad

Description

A simple and refreshing pasta salad perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound pasta
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup sweet pickle relish
  • 2 tablespoons chopped bell pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and rinse with cold water.
  2. In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, celery, onion, relish, bell pepper, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the drained pasta to the bowl and toss to coat evenly.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a creamier salad, add a little extra mayonnaise.
  • You can add other vegetables like peas or shredded carrots.
  • This salad keeps well in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
