Classic Pasta Salad

Description

A simple and refreshing pasta salad perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound pasta, cooked and cooled
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped red onion
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons relish
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the cooked and cooled pasta, celery, bell pepper, and red onion.
  2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, relish, and Dijon mustard.
  3. Pour the dressing over the pasta mixture and toss to coat evenly.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to your preference.
  5. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a creamier salad, add a little more mayonnaise.
  • You can add other vegetables like peas or shredded carrots.
  • This salad can be made a day in advance.
