Pineapple BBQ Pork Skewers

Description

Quick and easy pork skewers with a pineapple BBQ glaze, perfect for grilling.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs pork tenderloin, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks, fresh or canned
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Wooden or metal skewers

Instructions

  1. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  2. In a bowl, combine BBQ sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well.
  3. Add the pork cubes to the marinade and toss to coat. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
  4. Thread the marinated pork cubes and pineapple chunks alternately onto the skewers.
  5. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  6. Grill the skewers for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the pork is cooked through and has a nice char.
  7. Brush with any remaining marinade during the last few minutes of grilling.
  8. Serve hot.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the marinade.
  • Serve with rice or a side salad for a complete meal.
