Ingredients

- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup cooked sausage, sliced
- 1 cup pepperoni, sliced
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add garlic and cook for 1 minute more.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes, chicken broth, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a simmer and cook for 15 minutes.
- Add sausage and pepperoni. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Ladle soup into bowls.
- Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Garnish with fresh basil.
Notes
- You can add other pizza toppings like mushrooms or bell peppers.
- For a vegetarian version, omit the sausage and use vegetable broth.
