Description

A fast and flavorful pasta dish with Cajun-spiced shrimp.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 ounces pasta
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  2. Season shrimp with Cajun seasoning.
  3. Heat olive oil in a pan. Cook shrimp until pink. Remove and set aside.
  4. Sauté bell pepper and onion until softened. Add garlic.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Add shrimp and cooked pasta to the sauce. Toss to combine.
  7. Garnish with parsley.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of Cajun seasoning to your taste.
  • You can add a pinch of red pepper flakes for extra heat.
