Ingredients

- 8 ounces rotini pasta, cooked and cooled
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup black olives, sliced
- 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup bell pepper, chopped (any color)
- 1/4 cup mozzarella balls, halved
- 1/4 cup Italian dressing
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook rotini pasta according to package directions. Drain and rinse with cold water.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooled pasta, cherry tomatoes, black olives, red onion, bell pepper, and mozzarella balls.
- Pour the Italian dressing over the salad.
- Add the chopped basil.
- Toss gently to combine all ingredients.
- Season with salt and pepper to your preference.
- Chill for at least 15 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a heartier salad, add grilled chicken or chickpeas.
- Adjust the amount of dressing to your liking.
- You can substitute other pasta shapes if desired.
