- 1 whole turkey (12–14 lbs)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 4 cups cubed bread for stuffing
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2 lbs potatoes
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 can cranberry sauce
- 1 lb green beans
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F.
- Season turkey with salt and pepper, then roast for 3-4 hours.
- Make stuffing by sautéing celery and onion, then mix with bread and broth.
- Boil potatoes until soft, mash with butter and milk.
- Steam green beans and top with almonds.
- Serve turkey with stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, and green beans.
Notes
- Use a meat thermometer to check turkey doneness.
- Let turkey rest 20 minutes before carving.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
