Description

A refreshingly light, fruit-forward peach sorbet made with just 3 ingredients and no ice cream maker. Perfect for hot days, and totally vegan!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups fresh ripe peaches, peeled and sliced (about 56 peaches)
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar (or honey/maple syrup)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Optional: pinch of salt, splash of vanilla extract, or a few mint leaves

Instructions

  1. Peel and slice the peaches. Freeze them in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet for at least 4 hours or until solid.
  2. Add frozen peaches, sugar, and lemon juice to a high-speed blender or food processor. Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a shallow freezer-safe container. Press a piece of parchment directly on the surface and freeze for at least 2–3 hours.
  4. Let sit at room temperature for 5–10 minutes before scooping. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Use very ripe peaches for the best flavor. A splash of vodka or peach schnapps can improve texture. Try blending in herbs or berries for a twist.
