Burrata and Strawberry Crostini

Description

A simple and elegant appetizer featuring creamy burrata, fresh strawberries, and balsamic glaze on toasted bread.


Ingredients

  • 8 slices baguette
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 4 ounces burrata cheese, torn into pieces
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Brush both sides of the baguette slices with olive oil.
  3. Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp.
  4. Remove the crostini from the oven and let them cool slightly.
  5. Top each crostini with pieces of burrata cheese.
  6. Arrange the sliced strawberries over the burrata.
  7. Drizzle with balsamic glaze.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.

Notes

  • For a sweeter glaze, you can reduce balsamic vinegar in a small saucepan over medium-low heat until thickened.
