Cold Brew Lemonade

Description

A refreshing and easy-to-make cold brew lemonade recipe.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup coffee beans, coarse grind
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1 cup lemon juice, fresh
  • 1/2 cup sugar, or to taste
  • 4 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine coffee grounds and 4 cups of cold water in a jar. Stir.
  2. Cover and refrigerate for 12-18 hours.
  3. Strain the coffee concentrate through a fine-mesh sieve lined with cheesecloth. Discard grounds.
  4. In a pitcher, combine lemon juice and sugar. Stir until sugar dissolves.
  5. Add the strained coffee concentrate to the pitcher.
  6. Add the remaining 4 cups of cold water. Stir well.
  7. Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness as needed.
  8. Serve over ice with lemon slices.

Notes

  • For a stronger flavor, use more coffee grounds.
  • Adjust sugar and lemon juice to your preference.
  • You can make a simple syrup by heating equal parts sugar and water until dissolved, then cooling. This ensures the sugar dissolves completely.
