Grilled Lobster Tails with Garlic Butter

Description

Simple recipe for grilled lobster tails with a flavorful garlic butter sauce.


Ingredients

  • 2 lobster tails (about 68 oz each)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Butterfly the lobster tails by cutting down the top of the shell with kitchen shears, stopping before the tail fin. Gently pull the shell open and lift the meat out, resting it on top of the shell. Make a shallow cut down the length of the lobster meat.
  3. In a small bowl, melt the butter. Stir in the minced garlic, chopped parsley, and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the lobster meat.
  5. Place the lobster tails on the preheated grill, meat-side down, for about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Flip the lobster tails and grill for another 5-7 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and cooked through. Baste with remaining garlic butter during the last few minutes of cooking.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can also broil the lobster tails in the oven if you don’t have a grill.
  • Adjust the amount of garlic and parsley to your preference.
