Grilled Peach and Prosciutto Pizza

Description

A savory and sweet pizza featuring grilled peaches, salty prosciutto, and creamy mozzarella.


Ingredients

  • 1 ball pizza dough
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 ripe peach, pitted and sliced
  • 4 ounces fresh mozzarella, sliced
  • 2 ounces prosciutto, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Lightly brush the pizza dough with olive oil.
  3. Grill the pizza dough for 2-3 minutes per side, until lightly charred and cooked through.
  4. Remove the dough from the grill and place it on a cutting board.
  5. Arrange the sliced peaches and mozzarella over the grilled dough.
  6. Return the pizza to the grill and cook for another 3-5 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Remove the pizza from the grill.
  8. Drape the prosciutto slices over the hot pizza.
  9. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
  10. Slice and serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can also bake this pizza in a preheated oven at 450°F (230°C) on a pizza stone or baking sheet.
