Scale
  • 2 swordfish steaks (about 6 oz each)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 ripe mango, diced
  • 1/4 red onion, finely chopped

  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
  • 1 lime, juiced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Brush swordfish steaks with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Grill swordfish for 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  4. While the swordfish grills, combine diced mango, red onion, cilantro, jalapeño, and lime juice in a bowl.
  5. Gently mix the salsa ingredients.
  6. Serve the grilled swordfish topped with the fresh mango salsa.

Notes

  • You can add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the salsa for extra heat.
  • If you don’t have a grill, you can pan-sear the swordfish.
