Description
A classic lobster roll recipe featuring tender lobster meat tossed in a bright lemon butter sauce, served on toasted buns.

- 1.5 lbs cooked lobster meat, chopped
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
- 4 split-top hot dog buns
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the chopped lobster meat, lemon juice, chives, salt, and pepper.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Cook until lightly browned and fragrant, about 3-5 minutes.
- Pour the browned butter over the lobster mixture and toss gently to coat.
- Brush the insides of the hot dog buns with olive oil. Toast them in a skillet or under the broiler until golden brown.
- Spoon the lobster mixture into the toasted buns.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra richness, you can add a tablespoon of mayonnaise to the lobster mixture.
- If fresh chives are unavailable, you can substitute with chopped parsley.
