Description

A classic lobster roll recipe featuring tender lobster meat tossed in a bright lemon butter sauce, served on toasted buns.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs cooked lobster meat, chopped
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • 4 split-top hot dog buns
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the chopped lobster meat, lemon juice, chives, salt, and pepper.
  2. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Cook until lightly browned and fragrant, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Pour the browned butter over the lobster mixture and toss gently to coat.
  4. Brush the insides of the hot dog buns with olive oil. Toast them in a skillet or under the broiler until golden brown.
  5. Spoon the lobster mixture into the toasted buns.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra richness, you can add a tablespoon of mayonnaise to the lobster mixture.
  • If fresh chives are unavailable, you can substitute with chopped parsley.
