- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar

Instructions
- Place bread cubes in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, granulated sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract.
- Pour egg mixture over bread cubes, ensuring all pieces are coated. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon. Mix until crumbly.
- Sprinkle the crumb topping evenly over the French toast casserole.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 45-55 minutes, or until golden brown and set.
- Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Serve with maple syrup or your favorite toppings.
- For a richer flavor, use half-and-half instead of milk.
