Watermelon Mint Agua Fresca

Description

A refreshing and simple watermelon and mint drink.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups cubed seedless watermelon
  • 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 cups cold water
  • 1 tablespoon sugar or honey, optional

Instructions

  1. Combine watermelon, mint leaves, and lime juice in a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a pitcher, pressing on the solids to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the solids.
  4. Stir in the cold water.
  5. If desired, sweeten with sugar or honey.
  6. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a slushier consistency, add a few ice cubes to the blender.
  • Adjust sweetness to your preference.
