White Chocolate Raspberry Trifle

A layered dessert featuring white chocolate, raspberries, and cake.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound cake, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups fresh raspberries
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup whipped cream

Instructions

  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine white chocolate chips and heavy cream. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth. Stir in vanilla extract.
  2. In a separate bowl, gently toss raspberries with granulated sugar and lemon juice. Let sit for 10 minutes.
  3. Layer half of the cake cubes in the bottom of a trifle dish.
  4. Spoon half of the raspberry mixture over the cake.
  5. Drizzle half of the white chocolate mixture over the raspberries.
  6. Top with half of the whipped cream.
  7. Repeat layers with remaining cake, raspberries, white chocolate mixture, and whipped cream.
  8. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, you can soak the cake cubes in a little milk or liqueur before layering.
  • Garnish with extra raspberries or white chocolate shavings.
