Description

Sweet grilled pineapple slices topped with a warm cinnamon butter sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 ripe pineapple, peeled, cored, and sliced into 1/2-inch rings
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Stir in the brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt until combined. Remove from heat.
  3. Lightly oil the grill grates. Place the pineapple rings on the grill.
  4. Grill for 3-4 minutes per side, until grill marks appear and the pineapple is slightly softened.
  5. Remove the pineapple from the grill and place on a serving platter.
  6. Drizzle the warm cinnamon butter sauce over the grilled pineapple slices.
  7. Serve immediately.
